Sitting astride Rasza's shoulders, Yuina took note of a couple of things as they sat at the edge of the power spot. Dynergy was becoming more and more prominent in the region, especially from the attack of the titanic Pokémon within the desert. It was no wonder that so many expeditions to the known power spots were being sanctioned.[break][break]
"Agreed... I can't imagine being exposed to dynergy at this proximity for long periods of time is good for one's health," Yuina returned as she bid the dragon into the depths to begin their expedition.

The keenest eye may scry blood splatter on his shoes. Despite his haggard appearance, he bestows supplies should you require them. Otherwise, encounter poor bystanders trapped here, like backpackers or even a feral Megalopolan.[break][break]

"Indeed." Gwyar said, his Sygna suit coming alive as he nodded back at her, before hopping inside the hole.

Whipping wind and the feeling of his stomach floating followed the rapid descent, the granite bottom rapidly approaching. And still, Gwyar did not summon a flying-type to stop or slow his descent.

As he reached the bottom, he did not crash and break every bone in his body, but sunk into the granite as if it were water instead, the spot were he disappeared several shades darker than its surroundings.

Not a second later, he was ejected out of the shadows, popping out almost as if he had jumped, before landing back on his feet.

"Good enough." He muttered to himself.

He had practiced it before, and was pleased to see it go well. Hopefully, fall damage would be a fear of the past in future battles.

"Shall we go left?" He asked his companion after a moment, raising his gaze to her dragon their descent finished.

Descending to the depths on lofted wings, Yuina watched Gwyar's precarious position as the officer leapt unassisted. As the senior authority, she was sure he didn't need any help, but she kept a close eye... Until the shadows below buffeted his impact, sinking into the ground just as he had during their battle in the chasm.[break][break]
At least they made their descent without issue, and Rasza landed too as Gwyar assessed their options.[break][break]
"Probably our best option right now, there might be too much concentrated dyngergy that way," Yuina returned, having found the rightward path flooded by cloudy, miasmic energy of sorts, and she would much rather a more clear path, as clear as one could be at present.

Even here, TERA CRYSTALS are present. Like a virus, they've spread across the underground. Due to the concentrated dynergy in this place, encounter hallucinations—or hallucinations that become temporarily real by TERA CRYSTALS.[break][break]

And/or encounter a DYNAMAXED/GIGANTAMAXED POKEMON WITH A DYNAMAX SHIELD that must be downed. Regardless, the Pokemon will perish after its transformation. Investigating its carcass will reveal that it has somehow incorporated Dynite Ore onto its body. Though it is no Regi-titan, one may make macabre parallels.[break][break]

It wasn't their first rodeo in the mines, their experience allowing them to pick the least problematic route.

The familiar sounds of dynamaxed pokemon could be heard in the distance, but they avoided it expertly, focusing their efforts on the mining of the ores instead.

"Almost done here." The Gym leader hummed as he and his pokemon poured their bounty into one of the carts. He looked about carefully, cupping his chin. "Should we venture deeper...?"

Risky, but they could afford to fill their coffers a little more.

Rasza kept watch, open maw and splayed wings ready at a moment's notice given the sensitive and fragile nature of where they were. And Yuina worked on a small ore cluster to continue to work on their fill, samples to bring back for testing. There was no telling if the signatures of the ore were different between power spots or not... In fact, as Gwyar posed his question... Yuina wondered...[break][break]
"Do... Do you think that these caverns span beneath the region? Connecting the power spots? It wouldn't be unlike the caves carved by terastal energy, like the energy signature seeks itself out...," she queried, the caverns were vast, surely there was a chance? But that would require far more work and resources than they had presently.

"I believe i i's time for us to leave." The blonde said as he immediately tipped his cart, dumping a considerable, but calculated, amount of treasure.

A dynamaxed pokemon lumbered through the caverns, its gargantuan shadow casted on the rocky walls.

Gwyar had no interested in scrapping where it could be avoided. There would be many chances to return for more.

"For what it is worth— your theory appears worth exploring, young lady."
